A couple of weekends ago my husband, friends, and I went to Edom, Tx to pick blueberries. If you're ever looking for a fun day trip and want to get out of the city, I would totally recommend going. Edom is close to Van, Tx and Canton, so if it's First Monday, you could stop by Canton either going or coming. You pick your own blueberries, or they do have some they have picked if you don't want to pick them yourself. Part of the fun though is picking them. Now what to do with them?? They have everything blueberry you can imagine - blueberrry pie, ice cream, lemonade, perserves....I LOVE blueberries, so it was absolute blueberrry heaven for me! ReplyDeleteI also went blueberry picking last week with some friends! It is a lot of fun! I can't believe how long you have to pick to get that bucket filled up!
ReplyDeleteThat is so cool. My son will not eat breakfest in the morning if he doesn't have a bowl of fresh blueberries. We may have to go out that way this summer :-)
