Yay! Our yard is coming along! This past fall we hired someone to take out all of the shrubs on both sides of the house, and everything from the backyard (except the redtips and crepe myrtles). We had one of our beds relandscaped a couple of weekends ago, and this past Saturday Stan and I planted another bed in the backyard. We have 4 beds in the backyard, and two of them are now planted! We planted double knock-out roses in one bed, and nandina's under the crepe myrtles. I can't wait to plant Encore Azeleas this fall. They are so pretty! Our yard is becoming an oasis! :) Next summer I look forward to sitting with my feet propped up, sipping on a drink, looking at our beautiful backyard.

ReplyDeleteIt looks wonderful! We have such a tough time keeping our yard looking nice, so I know how much work it can be. I think you should prop your feet up, and sip on a cold drink THIS summer! :o)
